What is art, really? Some people think it’s something you can’t teach or learn; some people think it’s something that requires talent; others think that even AI can create art. Can AI create art?

There are three types of AI art: indistinguishable from human-created art (the best), worse than human-created art (the worst), and similar to human-created art (the rest).

The first type of AI art is created using generative neural networks, which can generate images based on rules given by their programmers. These networks are capable of creating paintings with an aesthetic value that exceeds the technical quality of works by humans.

The second type—worse than human-created works—is produced using deepfake algorithms like CelebA or Prisma; these algorithms use a collection of photos as input and output an image with a decidedly different style than any of them individually. These kinds tend to be photorealistic or hyper-realistic but lack artistic merit beyond how closely they resemble something real.

Finally, we have those which fall under neither category; these pieces are usually made by combining multiple styles together in ways more than what most people would consider “art” today—but still not quite as complex as true algorithmic creativity either way!

How does AI solve problems?

Mind you, the kind of AI that is currently being used to create art doesn’t have the capacity to make its own decisions. It needs humans to work with it and tell it what to do—but still, this is a far cry from most people’s understanding of AI.

AI algorithms are based on human intelligence, human learning, human perception, and human problem-solving. These algorithms were created by humans in order to solve problems exactly like yours: how do I make something look like it’s doing something when really it’s just doing nothing? They’re based on existing neural networks (networks of connected neurons) found throughout nature—in brains!
