On Monday, April 1, 2002, the Paul Keller Orchestra joyfully celebrates its opening night at its new home, the Firefly Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For thirteen years, this award-winning, 15 piece jazz big band was known to all as the Bird of Paradise Orchestra. They now look forward to continued success every Monday night at the Firefly Club under their new moniker, the Paul Keller Orchestra.

The band's repertoire is enormous, ranging from well-known standards to classic and obscure big band material selected from the entire history of jazz. They are also known for the many compositions and arrangements by members of the band.
