Friday, January 9, 2009 Ann Arbor, MI The Paul Keller Orchestra will celebrate its 20th birthday with a performance and party from 9:00 PM till 1:00 AM at their beautiful home The Firefly Club! This remarkable achievement is made possible by all the musicians who have participated and shared their skill, talent and passion every Monday night for the past 1000 big band gigs at the Firefly Club (and before that at the Bird Of Paradise).
Special thanks to club owner Susan Chastain of the Firefly Club for nurturing the PKO and allowing the PKO to flourish not only as a band of dedicated musicians but also as a community treasure that has become a Monday night tradition for jazz lovers.
